1. Who we are
Hyderabad Holidays Co. is the data fiduciary for personal data collected through this website, our office, phone, email and WhatsApp. This policy is written in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under them.
2. Data we collect
- Contact details: name, phone number, email address and postal address.
- Traveller details: names, dates of birth, gender, nationality and passport details of everyone travelling.
- Visa documents: passport copies, photographs, bank statements, tax returns, employment or business proof and other documents an embassy requires.
- Payment details: transaction references and amounts. Card and bank credentials are handled by our payment gateway and are never stored by us.
- Tax details: PAN and GSTIN where required for invoicing and TCS.
- Website data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through cookies.
3. Why we use it
- To prepare quotes and make the bookings you ask for.
- To prepare and submit visa applications on your behalf.
- To process payments, issue invoices and meet tax obligations.
- To contact you about your booking, including on-trip support over WhatsApp.
- To send offers, only if you agree. You can opt out at any time.
We process your data on the basis of your consent and to perform the services you request.
4. Who we share it with
We share only what is needed to deliver your booking with:
- airlines, hotels, transport operators and local tour partners;
- embassies, consulates, visa application centres and government e-visa portals;
- insurers, when you buy travel insurance;
- our payment gateway and bank, to process payments;
- government authorities, where required by law.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. International transfers
Booking an overseas trip or visa requires sending your data to suppliers and authorities outside India. We send it only for that purpose and as permitted under Indian law.
6. How long we keep it
We keep booking and invoice records for as long as tax and accounting laws require, generally eight years. Visa documents are deleted from our systems within 90 days of the application being decided, unless you ask us to keep them for a future application.
7. Security
We store documents in access-controlled systems, limit staff access to what each role needs, and use encrypted connections on this website. No system is completely secure; if a breach affects your data, we will inform you and the authorities as the law requires.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to give you a summary of the personal data we hold about you, correct or update it, delete it where we no longer need it, or withdraw consent for marketing. You can also nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf. Write to our Grievance Officer using the details below.
9. Cookies
This website uses cookies needed for it to work and, where enabled, analytics cookies to understand how it is used. You can block cookies in your browser settings; some features may then not work.
10. Children
Bookings must be made by an adult. We collect children's details only from their parent or guardian, for the purpose of their travel.
